How matchmaking works in practice?
Attending a matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners. High speed meetings are perfect for first impressions and new contacts!
Registration and booking of meetings is open until 18 September 2019. This means that you can send and receive meeting invitations throughout the event!
Register to the event, add information about yourself, your organization and your availability to have meetings.
Your participant profile is visible to other participants on the event website. The profile should describe clearly what you are looking for and what you can offer to potential partners. The better the participant profile, the more meeting invitations you will receive!
Note 1: The participant profile is your digital business card, and it is visible to all Internet browsers around the world.
2. Send & receive meeting invitations
Check other participants’ profiles and send meeting invitations to those you wish to meet. Remember to also accept/decline incoming meeting invitations. When accepting the meeting invitation, select the most suitable timeslot for the meeting. The matchmaking system takes into account the availability of both participants. You can also send messages to other participants via the matchmaking system.
3. Your meeting agenda is online
You can always check your personal meeting agenda online on the event website. The meeting agenda includes information about who you will meet, at what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.
To make the most of the event, prepare well for the meetings!
4. Build connections at the event
The pre-scheduled 15min one-to-one meetings take place at Kaukametsä Culture and Congress Centre, Koskikatu 2, Kajaani. The organizers are there to help you throughout the event.
5. Give feedback after the event
The organizers will ask for your feedback on the event and the meetings you had.
We highly appreciate your feedback, as it is valuable information on how to improve our matchmaking services and whether the meetings you had were useful and will lead to cooperation.
